TSK has been awarded a Gold Medal at the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, marking seven years of consistently award-winning safety.
Celebrating its centenary this year, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is the longest-standing body for recognising safety performance. It sets the standard not just for our industry, but across many sectors.
Our Operations Director, David Cox, said: “Winning a RoSPA drives us forward; it inspires us to constantly look at our safety procedures, maintaining and improving wherever we can. It also allows our clients to work confidently with us, in the knowledge that they can trust our sites meet compliance expectations.”
The Gold Medal Award is given to any companies or organisations that have achieved five to nine consecutive Gold Awards – a category we’re proud to have fallen in for the past three years.
At TSK we place strong emphasis on safety, traceability and sustainability. With over 450 employees and contractors on site, plus 72 in our MediaCity office headquarters, we’re always monitoring and developing our policies and practices.
Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety, and held in high regard around the world, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.”
We strive to partner with suppliers as close to us as possible, as a result reducing transit costs, our environmental footprint and forging lasting local relationships. We educate ourselves and our team on the materials we use, so we can best understand how to use and dispose of them efficiently and sustainably.
We’re proud to be able to share the RoSPA logo and wave its banner for the seventh year running. We’ve started the countdown, too - we’re three years off the even more prestigious President’s Award, so see you in 2020!
