TSK are delighted to announce that Adam, Killian, Kenny and Muz from Team TSK have raised a fantastic £906.36 for the Manchester-based Stockdales charity.
The team raised the money through taking on the Tough Mudder challenge on September 10, which involved braving a 12-mile assault course.
Supporting the local community
Stockdales provides brilliant support for adults and children with learning disabilities in the local community and TSK Quantity Surveyor, Adam Gormley couldn’t be happier supporting the charity:
“Tough Mudder definitely isn’t for the faint hearted, but it was all worth it knowing we are going to help change the lives of the wonderful residents of Stockdales. It was great to visit the charity and see how the money we raised is going to make a difference and I would like to thank everyone for showing their support.”
Fundraising provides a valuable source of income for Stockdales, as Natalie James, the charity's Fundraising Manager explains:
“Without the fantastic fundraising efforts from companies like TSK, we wouldn’t be able to provide some of the experiences and services for our residents here at Stockdales.
I would like to say a special well done to everyone at TSK who took part in the tough Mudder challenge. It is truly wonderful they chose to do this incredibly difficult event in aid of Stockdales and what a fantastic amount to have raised. It’s greatly appreciated by us all.”
The fantastic effort from our Tough Mudders brings TSK’s overall fundraising total for the year to £2,737.36 and the team are already planning the next charity event, so watch this space.
