Challenge

Using Incognito’s detailed design principles for the Manchester office, we needed to deliver a smaller, high-quality, cost-effective adaptation in Preston.

Insight

By working collaboratively with a professional team, we overcame challenges, found proactive solutions and delivered a world-class workplace.

Solution

A high-quality, modern office that represents Brabners’ status as a leading law firm and its commitment to going above and beyond.

Following a detailed tender process, run by Knight Frank, we were awarded the contract to construct Brabners’ new offices at both Barbirolli Square, Manchester and Sceptre Court, Lancashire.

Working collaboratively alongside Knight Frank (PM & QS), Incognito (Designer) and Crookes Walker Consulting (MEP), we successfully delivered Brabners’ stand-out Lancashire office in November 2021.

The brief

After delivering Brabners’ existing offices in Liverpool, we were brought on board to help transform their new offices in both Lancashire (7,000 sq. ft.) and Manchester (21,000 sq. ft.).

The project was driven by the 400-strong law firm’s strategic growth plan. It’s a significant investment that reflects Brabners’ commitment to clients and to staff, consolidating its status as one of the Sunday Times’ ‘Best Companies to Work For’.

Brabners is not a standard law firm, so this couldn’t be a standard office fit-out. Using the detailed design principles for the Manchester office, we needed to deliver a smaller, high-quality, economical version in Lancashire.

A collaborative approach

From the outset, this project was very much about collaboration.

Throughout the project, we worked alongside the entire supply chain to get the design and products right. Running regular development workshops helped mitigate potential problems, highlight available options, and find the best solutions together, which paid dividends to the end result.

“With such a detailed vision and design intent for these projects, it was critical to choose our delivery partner carefully. We are delighted that we decided to appoint TSK to deliver the projects for both Lancashire and Manchester, and become a valuable member of the overall team.

The extent of collaboration between all parties throughout has been amazing. The mindset and approach of the team has ultimately led to this exceptional end result – delivering on the client’s vision of a world-class workspace.”

“TSK’s determination to realise our vision and achieve the highest standards through cost-effective solutions was evident from start to finish. They listened, shared new ideas and faced any potential challenges head-on in a very tough market. It was great to work with such a reliable, collaborative and proactive team. We are delighted with the results and look forward to working with TSK on the next phase of the project.”
