We partnered with NERA to secure a landmark building in central London and deliver a modern workspace that supports their focused, high-stakes analytical work and reflects their commitment to excellence.
Time for change
After a decade in their Marble Arch office, NERA recognised the need for an office that could better support their complex and highly focused work. Noise levels disrupted the deep concentration their work demanded, client meeting spaces fell short of their high standards, and the storage-heavy layout – rooted in outdated ways of working – lacked the variety of settings their employees needed.
We guided NERA’s relocation to the prestigious St Botolph Building in the heart of London, delivering a light and fresh environment to inspire their team, boost productivity, and reflect their identity as a forward-thinking, globally respected firm.
Shaping a space to match NERA’s ambitions
Working closely with NERA’s employees and stakeholders, we gained a deep understanding of their workplace activities and aspirations. By ensuring every voice was heard, we shaped a space that aligns with their needs and vision.
This insight also guided selecting the St Botolph Building, a Grade A space that offers plenty of natural light and stunning views across London.
NERA’S new environment includes:
- A range of work settings: From acoustically optimised focus areas to energetic collaboration zones, the workspace enables both deep concentration and teamwork.
- A sophisticated look and feel: The design scheme celebrates natural elements, blending warm, neutral timber tones with lush planting and different shapes and textures. Accents of NERA’s bold primary colours add character and vibrancy, tying the space to their identity.
- Client-excellence spaces: Private meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art event space, and a concierge-style welcome set a new benchmark for professionalism and hospitality, creating an exceptional first impression.
- A spacious social and event hub: With panoramic views of London, this area encourages connection and promotes well-being.
Setting a new standard
Located in the heart of London within a prestigious, BREEAM-rated building, NERA’s new office reflects the firm’s high standards and global reputation. Clients and staff are welcomed into an environment that mirrors the professionalism and sophistication they’ve come to expect from the brand.
The new workspace has transformed the way employees work and interact. The social area offers five times more space than their previous setup, encouraging connection, relaxation and collaboration. The work settings, complete with bespoke acoustic solutions, are designed for independent work and productivity.
Sustainability was also a key consideration throughout this project. Thoughtfully chosen finishes and energy-efficient systems not only enhance the office’s performance but also reinforce NERA’s commitment to environmentally responsible business practices.
