Demonstrating our commitment to community, wellbeing, and sustainability through the Considerate Constructors Scheme at our 58 Mosley Street project in Manchester.

As part of our dedication to social responsibility, we have integrated various initiatives throughout the year focusing on community engagement, workforce wellbeing, and environmental sustainability into our new project.

Community, Charity & Legacy:

In line with the Considerate Constructors Scheme, we have sponsored a local football team, providing them with new kits for the season. Additionally, we are volunteering and actively supporting the Salford Food Bank, packing and shipping food parcels to those in need. We have a second volunteering date has been scheduled for February 14, 2024, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to community support.

Furthermore, TSK Group is excited to announce that our team will be joining the 5K Inflatable Assault Course at Tatton Park. This event aims to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House, supporting families with critically ill children.

Workforce and Wellbeing:

Recognising the importance of employee wellbeing, we have introduced recreational activities on-site, including table tennis and a dartboard, to promote a healthy work-life balance. Moreover, the company is prioritising the health of its subcontractors by organising health surveillance through Connexus Group. This includes comprehensive assessments such as blood pressure testing, hearing testing, and HAVS assessment, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all workers.

Environmental & Sustainability:

Having recently announced our Sustainability Strategy, we are committed to minimising our environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices. As part of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, surplus kitchen facilities, tea points, and spare materials from the 58 Mosley Street project will be donated to the Seedley Road Homeless Center project.

Discussions are also underway with Aspire to explore opportunities for reusing materials, further reducing waste. TSK Group volunteers will also collaborate with TCV (The Conservation Volunteers) and Groundworks in Manchester to contribute to environmental conservation efforts.
