Before designing an amazing new home to support the next stage of BresMed’s journey, we conducted thorough research to truly understand their ambitious plans. In partnership with BresMed, we ran interviews, surveys and focus groups to challenge ideas and clearly define what success would look like. Based on the results, we devised a strategy that would help us achieve their three core goals: enhance their external profile, promote better team working, and improve staff facilities and wellbeing.
BresMed’s high levels of success may have been evident internally but this wasn’t being reflected externally. We wanted to ensure their external reputation matched their profile and accomplishments.
The large, open-plan workspace offers a warm and welcoming first impression and allows clients to see the team working together. We designed an open reception area for greeting guests, and comfortable business lounge facilities and meeting spaces.
An office is so much more than the desks. Successful workplaces encourage people to thrive. By strategically placing departments next to each other and building a central café, the team now have more opportunities to come together.
We shaped settings for supporting different activity-based working – whether that be focused desk work, creative thinking, collaborative work, private telephone conversations or informal meetings. We also designed open spaces dedicated to relaxing and connecting with other employees.
Employee health and wellbeing has always been a core focus for BresMed. Though they previously had wellbeing rooms for their employees, they were hidden away and didn’t feel accessible. Now they’re more visible, passing employees are keen to make the most of the facilities.
Integrating technology into every working area meant that teams were able to start collaborating more effectively. Employees are more likely to thrive when they work in a flexible environment that supports different working styles.
This is a vibrant working environment and we are absolutely delighted with how it looks.
